New Gadget

yesterday I received my new fitbit HR, for a year I've been using the flex. I got the hr to monitor my heart rate. yes I've read the articles on how fitbit aren't as accurate as they state. but I use it as a guide line.
but so far it's been accurate enough for me. also got it for the stairs, since I take the stairs at work.

10,000 steps a day

every day I try to maintain 10,000 steps a day. I have a full time tech job, and class at night. I'm in bed early on the nights I don't have class, the days I do,I'm in bed by 10pm. I am up around 4:00 am sometimes 4:30. by 6 am I am putting in 45 mins to 60 mins of walking on the treadmill. I'll walk 2 miles, 5,000 steps. while I'm at work I'll take the stairs instead of the elevator or the escalator.  4 flights of stairs.

as of today I weigh in at 234 lbs.
day 1 on this blog, but already 1 week into it.

my starting weight was at 236.

This is me at 234 lbs.
my goal is to first get of the 200s
34 lbs to lose.
